Social Media: Speaking to the Masses!

Sail Pensacola! has had a social media presence since the first day of our formation. We’ve been present across all of the major channels and have endeavor to advance our vision and goals through strategic posting.

In 2023, we had the fortune of a fantastic field project by Steve LeMay’s social media marketing class. They performed a social media audit which has dramatically enhanced our social media strategy and presence. One outcome of that audit was the recommendation that we, launch a intern internship and social media.  Based on that recommendation, and an internship posting was placed on handshake and we successfully recruited our first social media marketing intern.

Welcome Meghan Thomas!

Meghan brings a fresh perspective and creative energy that is delivering KPI’s now! She is crafting engaging content, managing our social media channels, and analyzing our social media statistics. She is a senior at the University of West Florida studying comprehensive marketing, paired with a digital marketing certificate!
